After going off I figured I should make a public apology for snapping a bit, after getting more fully in touch with people it seems like there was a real conjunction of mistakes that lead to poor communication about the whole thing.

Things should be fixed soon, I'll make sure info is widely posted about the new release with security fixes when its made.  'Till then, sit tight, only run it on accounts w/ no real data if you're worried, etc.
