I'm trying to run kismet with intel 6235 (8086:088e) (hp folio 9470m) with no success so far, so I'd like to know if anyone has got this hardware working with kismet. I'm using linux kernel 3.11.6 with iwlwifi driver:

iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: loaded firmware version 18.168.6.1 op_mode iwldvm
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUG disabled
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEBUGFS disabled
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: CONFIG_IWLWIFI_DEVICE_TRACING disabled
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: CONFIG_IWLWIFI_P2P enabled
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: Detected Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235 AGN, REV=0xB0
iwlwifi 0000:03:00.0: L1 Disabled; Enabling L0S

kismet 2013.03.1-r1 (gentoo package)

I've tried all suggestions that I've been able to find on forums (tweaking sources and types and so on), but the result is always this:

INFO: Source 'wlo1' will attempt to create and use a monitor-only VAP instead of reconfiguring the main interface INFO: Bringing down primary interface 'wlo1' to prevent wpa_supplicant and NetworkManager from trying to configure it ERROR: mode get ioctl failed 22:Invalid argument ERROR: Failed to get current wireless mode for interface 'wlo1mon', check your configuration and consult the Kismet README file ERROR: Packet source 'intel' encountered an error, Kismet will attempt to reopen it in 10 seconds

I can provide more info and perform tests, if someone is so kind to give me some suggestions :)

Many thanks for any answer
