Nope; you don't have system-wide radiotap headers because you're on OSX and Kismet doesn't store anything in a datarootdir directory.

Unfortunately, OSX is a bit wonky, so I'm not sure how your experience will be beyond that - if you can't get it going, an option is to install pentoo or similar in a virtual machine and use a USB wifi card (only USB wifi cards can be made to work this way)
