I have installed kismet-2013-03-R0 on Raspberry pi.

Hardware Platform:
Raspberrypi 2013-05-29-wheezy-armel.img Debian GNU/Linux 7.0

It's a usb wireless card which doesn't need driver.

Now,I can surf internet via this USB card, but Kismet can't auto detect the card type.
Since I could surf the internet ,the wireless card driver is ok!

I have tried mac80211,rtl8188cus and 8192cu,but failed! Here are the error messages:

when I use "rtl8188cus",it displays:
FATAL: Failed to add source 'wlan0:type=rtl8188cus,hop=true,channellist=bips',
check your syntax and remember Kismet recently changed how it handles
source definitions!

when I use "8192cu",it displays:
FATAL: Failed to add source 'wlan0:type=8192cu,hop=true,channellist=bips',
check your syntax and remember Kismet recently changed how it handles
source definitions!

when I use "mac80211",it displays:
ERROR: Source 'wlan0' doesn't have mac80211 support, disabling VAP
creation of default monitor mode VAP
INFO: Capture source 'wlan0' doesn't appear to use the monitor_type iwpriv
control.
INFO: Capture source 'wlan0' doesn't appear to use the set_prismhdr iwpriv
control
ERROR: Failed to set monitor mode on interface 'wlan0' in current state,
bringing interface down and trying again
ERROR: mode set ioctl failed 22:Invalid argument
ERROR: Failed to set monitor mode on interface 'wlan0', even after
bringing interface into a down state. This usually means your
drivers either do not report monitor mode, use a different
mechanism than Kismet expected to configure monitor mode, or that
the user which started Kismet does not have permission to change
the driver mode. Make sure you have the required version and have
applied any patches needed to your drivers, and that you have
configured the proper source type for Kismet. See the
troubleshooting section of the Kismet README for more information.

why kismet can't auto decte my wireless card type??
Any reply is ok.
Thanks in advance!!!
