My recollection of the 810 was they have a mutant GPSD and it only talked dbus. I messed around with it for a bit trying to get kismet to behave with it, and then more or less gave up on the device, sorry.

I think it MIGHT be possible to make a plugin that ties into dbus and feeds kismet standard GPS data, but I wouldn't be sure. If i recall the big problem I had was dbus assumes you're willing to sacrifice your entire socket io system and only use dbus. I'm not willing to.

I'm not even sure where my 810 is anymore.

I'd make sure you're running a recent kismet (not 2008-something), and then kill off gpsd entirely, and try pointing kismet to rfcomm0 then.
