Subject:Running kismet over BCM4313 network card

Hi everyone,

Has anyone get this to work?

I have this NIC:
skorzen@g62:~$ lspci | grep Network
03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g LP-PHY (rev 01)

My configuration file (wrong I know, but haven't found a working combination):
skorzen@g62:~$ cat /etc/kismet/kismet.conf | grep source=
# source=sourcetype,interface,name[,initialchannel]

And running kismet:
skorzen@g62:~$ sudo kismet
Launching kismet_server: //usr/bin/kismet_server
Suid priv-dropping disabled. This may not be secure.
No specific sources given to be enabled, all will be enabled.
Non-RFMon VAPs will be destroyed on multi-vap interfaces (ie, madwifi-ng)
Enabling channel hopping.
Enabling channel splitting.
FATAL: Unknown capture source type 'eth1' in source 'eth1,mac80211,mynic'

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Bruno Martins
