A little background info:
-I've used Linux before, including Ubuntu, Ubuntu Server, Kubuntu, DSL, and CentOS.
-I want to use Kismet on an IBM ThinkPad X31 laptop. It's got an Intel Pentium M 1.7GHz CPU, 1.5GB RAM, and a 32GB SSD. I've got a built in Intel 2200 wireless card, and a PCMCIA slot with a Lucent Orinoco WaveLan Gold card. Right now I'm connected to the web with the Intel chip and will be using the WaveLan card as the one to try to get into my router.
-I'm running Linux Mint 11.
-I've used Kismac on an old iBook G4. But that is a lot different I think!

Anyway, I need to:
1. Install Kismet
2. Get a GUI or learn how to do it with commands.
I would prefer to learn commands but I would need a step by step instruction on how to install and use it. This is something I'm truly interested in learning, and would be fun to demonstrate to people how insecure their WEP crap is.

Please, help! What do I do! I've downloaded Kismet that's all I've done so far. Now what?
Thank you so much in advance.
