I'm guessing you're missing kernel headers? Look at the configure output, i'm guessing you're missing linux wireless headers.

[edit] I just changed iwcontrol to be a complete ifdef if you don't have wireless headers, try compiling from svn and see if that fixes it, since you're doing drone-only I guess you don't need iw or ifcontrol
