Subject:Struggle with broadcom or get a USB dongle?
Date:00:47:48 08/10/2010

Been running kismet on my Nokia n810, but need to graduate to my new HP Mini running Ubuntu. The mini has the Broadcom 4322AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n chipset. Ubuntu's hardware wiz found and installed the "Broadcom Linux STA wireless driver for use with BCM 4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4321-, and BCM4322-based hardware.", which works for connecting. But, Kismet says "no monitor mode, no dice". Don't think I have the brainpower to fix the Broadcom thing (although I will continue to poke at it, and would welcome suggestions).

So, I'm shopping for a USB dongle! 802.11n would be nice, but I will settle for a/b/g.

Does any nice person have a recommendation for a USB dongle (the actual USB stick, not just the chipset, please), that I can buy and get to work with kismet without a terrible amount of pain?
