Subject:Problems to start Kismet

I'm new to Kismet, and I'm using Linux 2.6.28-18-generic #60-Ubuntu SMP i686 GNU/Linux. I can't get to start kismet. I'm running the commands with sudo.

THIS IS FROM STARTING: kismet_server
Suid priv-dropping disabled. This may not be secure.
No specific sources given to be enabled, all will be enabled.
Non-RFMon VAPs will be destroyed on multi-vap interfaces (ie, madwifi-ng)
Enabling channel hopping.
Enabling channel splitting.
