Subject:GPS Speed=0.0000 problem maybe solved.

So that's odd.

So the NMEA spec sends speed-over-ground in knots.

Various versions of gpsd have sent this in meters/sec OR knots (and theres no real way to know other than looking at the gpsd version), which Kismet tries to identify.

I'm not sure what you're sending it with gpspipe.
