Subject:Fatal error when running kismet
Date:04:22:29 16/11/2009

I download kismet and configure it as the read me said.

* Compile Kismet with "make".
* Install Kismet with either "make install" or "make suidinstall".
YOU MUST READ THE "SUID INSTALLATION & SECURITY" SECTION OF THE
README OR YOUR SYSTEM MAY BE VULNERABLE.
* If you have installed Kismet as suid-root, add your user to the
"staff" group if it is not already.

* Run "kismet". If you did not install Kismet with suid-root support,
you need to start it as root in nearly all situations. This is not
recommended as it is less secure than privsep mode, where packet
processing is segregated from admin rights.

Then when i run kismet command as a root user I get this message:

Launching kismet_server: //usr/bin/kismet_server
Suid priv-dropping disabled. This may not be secure.
No specific sources given to be enabled, all will be enabled.
Non-RFMon VAPs will be destroyed on multi-vap interfaces (ie, madwifi-ng)
Enabling channel hopping.
Enabling channel splitting.
NOTICE: Disabling channel hopping, no enabled sources are able to change channel.
Source 0 (addme): Opening none source interface none...
FATAL: Please configure at least one packet source. Kismet will not function if no packet sources are defined in kismet.conf or on the command line. Please read the README for more information about configuring Kismet.
Kismet exiting.
Done.d

What are those packet sources?? and how do I download those??

Thanks and Regards
