Thanks, and I'm sorry I didn't understand that part of the readme. I have now installed Flex, Bison, and the newest libpcap. Now when I run ./configure, it seems to work. Running make though produces many errors regarding panelfront:

panelfront.cc:1249: error: ‘new_panel’ was not declared in this scope
panelfront.cc:1253: error: ‘struct PanelFront::kis_window’ has no member named ‘pan’
panelfront.cc:1253: error: ‘move_panel’ was not declared in this scope
panelfront.cc:1254: error: ‘struct PanelFront::kis_window’ has no member named ‘pan’
panelfront.cc:1254: error: ‘show_panel’ was not declared in this scope
panelfront.cc: In member function ‘void PanelFront::DestroyWindow(PanelFront::kis_window*)’:
panelfront.cc:1277: error: ‘struct PanelFront::kis_window’ has no member named ‘pan’
panelfront.cc:1277: error: ‘hide_panel’ was not declared in this scope
panelfront.cc:1278: error: ‘struct PanelFront::kis_window’ has no member named ‘pan’
panelfront.cc:1278: error: ‘del_panel’ was not declared in this scope
make: *** [panelfront.o] Error 1

There is quite a bit more of this. I checked and I am running gcc version 4.3 ( I saw something about panelfront here and it had to do with gcc so I checked). Any ideas? Thanks.
