From the manpage:

-m, --user-map MAP
Use custom map file instead of downloading one. If center and
scale are specified in the map title they will be used.

This minor revelation tells me that I may need to rename the source map filename to a specific format to reflect the center and scale of the file, which is ridiculous, since I am specifying that in the commandline of gpsmap anyways.

Can someone tell me the specific coordinate system that i need to use for that filename? And the format as well, like _ or - between numbers?
