Subject:Router transmits to unknown MAC

> Sorry, didn't know that was important. The unidentified MAC address is 00:60:0F:EE:C1:B0. There is one wired device on the network, I checked its MAC (in XP, using ipconfig /all), and it does not match.

I looked that address up myself at http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/?string=00%3A60%3A0F%3AEE%3AC1%3AB0 and got Westell, which is the manufacturer of the modem the router is connected to, so mystery solved, I had forgotten about that when you said "wired device". My bad. Still don't quite understand why my wireless scan would see a packet headed there -- is that because I have the router set up as an access point ("bridge mode", I think other manufacturers call it), so the wireless clients are sending packets marked for that MAC address?
