Actually there is nothing :-(

When I start Kismet from a terminal as root, it starts up and shows the UI. When I exit with Quit, the terminal shows what I have pasted. There don't seem to be any dmesg or /var/log/messages entries.

Kernel is 2.6.24-rc2-git6-4-default

I paste an actual event below here:

workstation6l:/home/cjp # kismet

Kismet exiting.
Killing server...
Shutting down log files...

*** KISMET IS FLUSHING BUFFERS AND SHUTTING DOWN ***
Kismet exiting.
Kismet exited.

Actually, when I see the Kismet UI and from another terminal do

ps -A | grep kismet

I get:

4882 pts/2 00:00:00 kismet
4891 pts/2 00:00:00 kismet_server
4893 pts/2 00:00:00 kismet_server
4895 pts/2 00:00:00 kismet_client

So I assume, that the fatal error is after Quit
