Subject:madwifi source not being built!

I have worked on this for days now and cannot figure out why. I have to admit I'm a bit of a linux newbie, but I love it so far. Anyway the error is:

"Support for capture source type 'madwifi_ag' was not built. Check the output from 'configure' for more info ...blah blah"

But I can't find anything in the config outpur that would give a reason for not compiling. FYI I am running FC6.
