I realize this isn't a problem with Kismet, but I'm hoping to get some advice. I'm using ubuntu feisty, and fetched gpsd via apt, and it installed 2.33, which looks fairly new, but it looks like the problems people were having with kismet showing fix: none 10x more often than it shows fix: 2d or 3d is still there.

If I telnet to gpsd directly at port 2947, and type M a few times, you can see that the problem is gpsd itself.

Another weird thing is that PAVM reports a location even when M=0:
PAVM
GPSD,P=37.757737 -122.255538,A=?,V=0.000,M=0

I've tried running gpsd with -n, but that doesn't help either.

I'm using a Kensington USB bluetooth adapter, and an i.Trek M1 bluetooth GPS.
