Subject:message "./configure: no such file or directory" in cygwin
Date:20:15:21 21/02/2007

I am an absolute novice with code, but would like to install Kismet. I have installed the cygwin full install, and then run the bash shell, and type in the following as in the Kismet readme file:
./configure --enable-airpcap --with-airpcap-devpack=
The kismet file (kismet-2007-01-R1b), with the Airpcap_devpack folder inside it, is in the home/username directory in the cygwin folder.
I don't understand why the ./configure file isn't being recognised. I am running Windows XP on a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook.
I have referred to the kismet documentation, the netstumbler forum , and also to the cygwin site, but this error seems very basic, so it is not mentioned. Please any help .....
