Instead, you can use kismet_client under windows using cygwin.

A machine with the kismet_server running on it (any linksys wrt54gl could help you in this task) and you laptop running kismet_client.

I configure this putting wrt54g kismet binaries into a shared directory in a machine and forcing wrt54g to mount the shared directory and run scripts that runs kismet_server in the wrt54g. Then you only need the kismet_client to connect to the server.

In the shared directory where:
* Binaries
* Directories for logs
* Kismet Server configuration files.

This will help you.
