Well, turns out that the user account I was trying to run Kismet as was broken, meaning that I couldn't even log in as that user. I created a new account and now it works. Thanks, Dragorn!

On a slightly different topic..
I have a network that is using WPA2 Pre-Shared Key encryption, with AES and TKIP.
When I goto my network and press "i", it says
Privacy:Yes
Encrypt:WEP TKIP WPA PSK AES-CCM

I am using the latter four, but why does it say WEP?
