Erm yes, diff was created against 2007-10-R1 since the changelog on the homepage didn't show any changes concerning gpsmap (and a release can be installed & removed more cleanly by Gentoo's portage ;) .

Maybe these two are related, I meant the first two lines:
--- kismet-2007-10-R1/gpsmap.cc 2007-01-26 17:26:57.000000000 +0100
+++ gpsmap.cc 2008-04-14 20:34:41.000000000 +0200
The one is in another subdiretcory, the other is in the current directory, not quite ideal for a patch I think.
Sorry I didn't reply to first post, was quite busy the weekend. Nevertheless I'm very interested in your "kismap"-app, though I know pyhton even less than C ;)
I you need any help with OpenStreetMap-integration, don't hesitate to ask me or post a message to the mailing-list, quite much people there know python.
Looking forward to seeing kismap ;)
