I'm running Linux Familiar v6.0 on an IPAQ and have the line
cardtype=orinoco
In /usr/etc/kismet.conf
When I run "kismet_monitor" I get:
~ # kismet_monitor
Setting interface from /usr/etc/kismet.conf capinterface
Setting card type from /usr/etc/kismet.conf cardtype
Unknown card type 'orioco'. Doing nothing.
I tried adding an extra "n" so that orinoco became orinnoco
but I still got the same message. I changed cardtype to xxxbogus
and I got "Unknown card type 'xxxbogus', so I know
/usr/etc/kismet.conf is being read okay.
Any ideas?
