> hi im new to the forum and kismet so my knowledge is low ;( but i want to learn anywayz just got my card put it in my laptop which is a dell lattitude d510 ran kismet thro backtrack2 and i get the message FATAL ERROR no packet sources were enabled , a dont get it some ppl say they take the card out the box and it works straight away ? can somebody take me thro the steps in detail how to get kismet to run with this card would really appreciate the help ;)
I presume its madwifi drivers as it is equipped with atheros chipset. Older wireless cards are hermes I and people can get confused.
You may need to tweak around kismet settings.
